This review is of American Airlines First Class service from Honolulu to Los Angeles. I am sure the service on their other Hawaiian destinations from the West Coast would be the same. In a word I felt American's service in First Class on this route is "elevated". From large pillow and blankets and menus given before take-off to being able to pre-order your meal. This is a review of Delta's BusinessElite service from Los Angeles to Tokyo's Haneda Airport. Delta has since changed aircraft on this flight since I flew to a 767. In addition, they have added another flight to Tokyo's Haneda Airport from SEA. But Delta still flies A330's to Japan and the service and seats will be the same. The seats will also be the same for all of Delta's A330 International flights that have not gotten their new flat-bead seats. I was finally able to fly on Boeing's 787 Dreamliner two weeks ago (and again this week) on United Airlines as they fly it on Domestic routes. I was upgraded on all three flights to BusinessFirst. This will be the same seat and configuration for their international service, but the meal service was the same as their Domestic First Class.
