    1. Not for a living, but it is a nice way to supplement it. I have been traveling extensively for the last 20 years for both work and pleasure and have gained a vast knowledge of the travel industry. I was encouraged by friends and family to write about experiences that people may find informative or humorous. I am trying to just give information on airlines, hotels, restaurants that might help someone decide where to stay or who to fly. I have many humorous stories I could write about. Like driving from College Station, TX to DFW after work to pick up a colleague just so we could eat at Del Frisco's. Then after the 4 hour drive I ran out of gas and he flagged a taxi so we could make the restaurant before they closed. Not caring that we would abandon the rental car. Or traveling with this same colleague on vacation to Munich with my two cousins. Driving to the Bavarian Alps. Stopping in Garmisch and eating at the most charming family run restaurant (it literally was in their house) with a picture perfect view. Only to have this same colleague start loudly dropping F-bombs because he wasn't happy with how the bill was being split.

So I will try to continue to give my opinion on Airlines, Hotels, Restaurants, etc and hope that it may be helpful to someone. Assisting the media with questions on the travel industry and maybe telling a funny story here and there.
